Stampingbella Uptown Couple Brett & Brenda Get Married

Today's card was made with The Bellariffic Friday Sketch #4 at the Stampingbella blog.  This is first time I have inked up one of these stamps.  I like the way my card turned out, but really I don't think you can go wrong with any of the Stamping Bella stamps.  Here is the sketch for this week.
I changed up the sketch and made an A2 card instead of square.  The image is from  Stamping Bella's Uptown Couple Brett & Brenda Get Married.  The paper's are from My Mind's Eye Lost & Found - Union Square.  Even though it's not traditional wedding colors I love these papers.  The diecut around the image is from Spellbinder's Fleur de Lis Squares and the "celebrate" die cut is one of the dies from the Penny Black Die set called Celebrations, which I got from Simon Says Stamp.  I actually cut this out twice - once in black and the other in red.  I like to layer them to make it pop.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:

My flowers came out a little pink in the photo, but they actually match the cardstock.

Art Impressions Challenge - Front & Back

The challenge for the next two weeks at Art Impressions  is "Front & Backs".  AI is releasing four new sets that have matching dies and they are super cute!  So for my card I pulled out AI's Front & Back stamp set Hal.  I haven't had a chance to use him yet and I need a birthday card for our friend Tony who is going to be 93 next month.  The sentiment "Officially Old" is from Hampton Art's Laugh Out Loud line.  The paper for the wall that Hal is on is from My Mind's Eye Bramble Rose 6x6 pack.  For the inside card I used the Papertrey Ink Text Block: Party Time die with papers from Basic Grey's Shine On

Hope you all had a great Valentine's Day!

Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "All Creatures Great & Small"

My niece just found out she's having a baby.  They are both really excited, so I thought I would work on some baby cards for all the showers that will be coming up.  This week's challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is All Creatures Great & Small.  For my card I am using the Whipper Snapper Design stamp Baby Boy Bear.  The papers are from the Crate Paper Little Boy Blue 6x6 pad.  For the die cut letters I use MFT's Die-namics By The Letters Uppercase.  I die cut them twice so I could layer them with black cardstock.

PTI Make It Monday - Layering Cover Plate Dies

Today's card is for the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge.  Dawn McVey shows how to create layers using your cover plates.  For my card I used the  PTI Hexagon Cover Plate for my background.  Then I used PTI Feather Finery stamps & dies  to create the feathers and sentiment.  This set has been out of stock for a while, but finally came in, so I was excited to get it.
Here is my card for this week's challenge.

Have a great weekend...
