Papertrey Ink Make It Monday - Heat Embossed Stencil Backgrounds

My card today is for the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge - Heat Embossed Stencil Backgrounds.  I used a striped stencil with gold embossing powder.  I then die cut it using a rectangle die.  I also cut out the PTI Mix & Mat Flourishes die with white card stock.  Using the same rectangle die I cut out the interior of my flourish.  I added flowers from the PTI stamp & die set called Rosie Posie 1 & 2.  I added a die cut sentiment.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Use Pattern Paper

My card today is for the Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp using pattern paper.  The stamp set I used is from Taylored Expressions called "If Balloons Could Talk".  This is a super cute set with different facial expressions and sentiments.  It also includes the dies.  The paper I used is from the 6x6 American Crafts "Everyday" pad.  I added Glossy Accents to my balloons, so the pic has a bit of a glare on the balloons.

Birthday Card Using MFT Fall Florals Stamps & Dies

I have another birthday card using the My Favorite Things Fall Florals stamps & dies.  I embossed the white panel using a stripe embossing folder.  Using pink card stock I die cut an oval using the MFT Stitched Ovals die.  I adhered my flowers and stamped my sentiment.  I used pop dots to add dimension on the oval and some of the flowers, but I didn't get to carried away since I am mailing this to my sister for her birthday later this month.

Have a great day.

Inlaid Die Cuts

Just a quick post today showing some cards I made using Memory Box dies.  I have examples of very simple designs to more intricate.  Here they are.

This design was the most intricate.  I die cut the butterflies on white card stock and adhered it to a black piece of card stock.  Using the die cut with black card stock I adhered it in the opening on the white piece. Then I die cut a piece of pink & blue card stock and using my pik stick adhered the tiny pieces into the wings of the butterfly.  Doing it this way the card design has a smooth surface.  It's putzy, but I love the look.

I did the same thing here only the die cut was a lot simpler.

For this one I just inlaid the white die cut in the die cut opening done on the black card stock.  Very simple and you actually get two cards with the reverse color combo.
