Bridal Shower Card using My Favorite Things Umbrella Die-namics
I have a second post today for a simple bridal shower card for my niece. I didn't want to get to carried away since I have to put it in the mail. For the umbrella & sentiment I used the My Favorite Things "Umbrella & Stamp set. They no longer sell the Die-namics and coordinating stamps together and I think just the stamp set is no longer available, since I didn't find it on their site. The papers are from the Heidi Grace "Sunshowers" 6x6 paper pack, which I purchased at Joanns.
Art Impressions "Shake Your Booty" Birthday Card
Today's card is for a friend who is celebrating his 92nd birthday. I wanted to make him a special card, so I pulled out the Art Impressions "Shake Your Booty" Disco Set. I purchased this along with a female version when AI was having a sale. These sets come with an Action Wobble, so it makes for a fun card. I stamped and colored the image, then paper pieced the shirt and colored in the flowers. I fussy cut the image and popped him up with pop dots. The papers are from the Studio Calico "Daring Dear" 6x6 collection and the sentiment was computer generated.
For the inside of the card I stamped the second image, colored it with my Copics, glued it to another layer of white card stock and then fussy cut it out. I used the same papers and layout then attached the stamped image using the Action Wobble. The inside sentiment came with the stamp set. If you never have seen or used an Action Wobble with just a little flick he is shaking his booty.
This was a fun card to make, hope you enjoy it.

Art Impressions Let's Get Krafty Challenge
The challenge at the Art Impressions blog this week Let's Get Krafty. Even though I don't use it to often, I love kraft paper. It really works with anything. For my card I pulled out the Art Impressions stamp "Melvin". This image just makes me smile. The paper is from My Mind's Eye "Come Away With Me" 6x6 pad and the arrows were cut using the My Favorite Things Dienamics LLD Lead The Way.

PTI Make It Monday - Layering Pigment & Dye Inks
Today's card it a simple Thank You card that can easily be mailed. My inspiration comes from this weeks Papertrey Ink Make It Monday #152 challenge. Heather Nichols shows a technique layering dye and pigment inks. For my card I used the PTI stamp set "Turning A New Leaf". I stamped various images using white pigment ink. After it dried I stamped images from the PTI set "Meadow Greens", which is one of my all time favorites in dye ink. The sentiment is also from the same set. If you look closely you can see the leaves that were stamped in pigment ink on the white card stock and the stamped images.

Art Impression Challenge "Pop It Up"
Well, I'm back after having a very nasty cold for 3 weeks. I didn't accomplish much during that time, but feeling much, much better. Today's card is for the Art Impression Challenge "Pop It Up". They want to see lots of layers, so for my image & sentiment I am using the Art Impression Golden Oldies "Golfers" stamp set. I stamped the image 3 times for the gal, gent and bag of golf clubs. I colored each image with Copics, paper pieced the pants and shirt using the My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two "Breeze" pattern paper 6x6 pack. I die cut different shaped clouds using the My Favorite Things Die-namics Cloud Trio. Using the die cuts I created my sky background and the clouds for the sentiment. The grass I just hand colored. The gal was popped up on one layer of pop dots. The guy I doubled the layers except on his shoulder, so it looks like he has his arm around the gal. And then another layer with the golf bag.
