Here is Dawn's card.
For my card I used the recently released stamp & dies from PTI called Forget Me Not. This is the first time I have inked up these stamps and I think this is now one of my favorites. The sentiment was also stamps and dies from PTI called Graceful Greetings II. I think these are really elegant and will be using these a lot in the future. I used a vertical striped embossing folder from Stampin Up, which is a little hard to pick up on camera. Last I added a little bling and some Stickles to the center of the flowers.
Here is my take on Dawn's card.
Have a great weekend...
Your card is as lovely as Dawn's. She did some amazing work this Release! That's a really pretty set, your flowers are beautiful! I love your striped texture (I can see it perfectly fine) Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, Linda! Love the Forget Me Not flower set (moving it up on the Wish List now) they look elegant on the striped embossed background.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card Linda! I love that forget me not stamp set too, and it looks so elegant against the vertical embossed stripes! Fabulous case of Dawn's card! 😊
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Your new stamp sets had a great first use!
ReplyDeleteLovely. The dry embossing shows up perfectly, BTW. I love the Forget-Me-Not set, and I've made a few cards from it, but I haven't tried putting Stickles in the centers. I like it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, serene sympathy card, Linda! Forget-Me-Nots will be on my next order for sure. Not on,y are the flowers beautiful, but I love the sentiments too.
